Parenting is HARD!

I'm a parent educator, speaker, curriculum creator, mother, foster parent, and lifelong believer in the power of relationships.

For nearly three decades, I've had the privilege of walking alongside children, families, and helping professionals as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising children. Throughout my career, one truth has remained constant: healthy relationships matter.

As a mother of six and a former foster parent, I know firsthand that parenting is both beautiful and messy. I've celebrated milestones, wiped tears, laughed through unexpected moments, and learned that children don't need perfect adults. They need adults who see them, delight in them, and grow alongside them.

That belief became the foundation for Growing Together™.

Growing Together™ was created to help parents move beyond checklists and milestones and focus on what matters most: building strong, healthy relationships through everyday moments. My goal is to provide families with practical tools, encouragement, and meaningful opportunities for connection while honoring the unique person each child already is.

Today, I serve as a Program Director, educator, and speaker while continuing to create relationship-centered resources for families. Through curriculum development, workshops, speaking engagements, and digital resources, I am passionate about helping parents feel confident, supported, and connected on their parenting journey.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, dreaming up new curriculum ideas, drinking coffee, or working on one of the many projects that begin with the simple hope of helping families grow together.
